Actress blames Mom for her downfall

Karthika who made foray into films with the disastrous flick 'Josh' opposite Naga Chaitanya blames her mom and veteran actress Radha for her downfall, despite making the right choices.
"Radha was the dream girl of 80s youth. Being he daughter of Radha, everyone looked at me with pre-conceived notion. That's the reason why my career hasn't taken a flying start. I wish to make one thing clear - I'm no less to my contemporaries in any aspect. Please stop comparing me with my Mom," pleads the dusky siren, in her recent interview.
"To shine in this Industry, talent and beauty alone weren't enough. Luck too plays a key role. All those films done by me were crazy projects, but the results aren't satisfactory. Hopefully, I will see good days soon," she adds.
Currently, Karthika is playing the lead in Kannada remake of Telugu hit Brundavanam. She was roped to play Kajal's part in the movie.
