AIIMS Doctors ends life due to Gay Husband's Torture

A Woman Doctor working at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) committed suicide by cutting her wrist at a hotel room in Delhi on Sunday.
In her suicide letter and a note on her Facebook page, Priya Vedi alleges her 'homosexual' husband has mentally tortured her for extra dowry. Although they were married for 5 years, They don't have a physical relation till now.
Priya Vedi's note: "We don’t have any physical relation till now… I found a fake gmail account in his laptop in which he was doing chatting with his gay friends and these messages were before of our marriage. In spite of knowing this I decided to help him to b as a wife with him. But he tortured me a lot mentally… And at last night he tortured me emotionally so I am unabl to take breath with him… You are not a human being you are a devil, who take away my life from me".
Priya Vedi checked into the hotel at 11:30 am on Saturday and her husband who is also an AIIMS Doctor filed a missing complaint at the same time. Finally, Cps found her dead in the hotel room with her wrist slit.
The 31-Year-Old called everyone in the family from the hotel room before taking the extreme step. Though the family members tried to stop her from committing suicide, She didn't pick up the phone and mostly they received busy or on another call message.
Cops have arrested Priya Vedi's Husband and a Case was booked under sections 498A (demanding dowry) and 304B (dowry death) of the IPC.
