Airtel Users had an unpleasant Saturday! Why?

Airtel Customers in Hyderabad had a tough time on Saturday as they were unable to make or receive calls and even the data services go inactive.
Technical Snag took place when Airtel engineers were performing system integration and network upgrades for the 4G Services which will be launched soon. About 2,500 cell sites in and around Hyderabad crashed during this process resulting in breakdown of voice and data services.
Airtel Spokesperson told that the technical glitch is limited to few areas in Hyderabad and conveyed deep regrets for the inconvenience caused to the customers. The services of the leading Telecom Company resumed partly in afternoon and completely by evening.
