Akkineni Hero pins hopes on Charminar

Naga Chaitanya is all set to star in the remake of Kannada hit Charminar. The young actor watched the original on Saturday and believed that it has the potential to set the cash registers ringing in Tollywood as well.
A noted director is likely to be roped in to handle this Telugu remake. Larsco Sridhar (Lagadapati's brother) would be producing this flick.
Off late, Chaitu has been struggling to prove his stamina at the Box Office. Except for Ye Maya Chesave and 100% Love, all his films ended up as duds. While Dil Raju made few quick bucks with Josh due to the debut film factor, Dhada and Bezawada were disasters (Neither the producer nor the buyers benefitted with these flicks). His upcoming films 'Autonagar Surya' and 'Bhale Thammudu' (Tamil hit Vettai remake) were gearing up for release.
Chaitu has turned into a remake raja of Tollywood by choosing two remakes within the 7 films he has done till date. Can his choice of films makes him a bankable star? Let's see!
