Allegations of Irregularities: L&T Hyd Metro Rail ready for probe!

L&T Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited condemned the allegations of irregularities in the project and dared to face any probe. The officials also confirmed the project would be completed by December next year. "L&T is known for its ethics. Since five years, several allegations were made on the project. We have proven all of them wrong. There was no money exchanged and not even a single extra cent of land has been taken for the project," confirms L&T Officials.
Few days ago, TRS President K Chandrasekhar Rao alleged L&T has given kickbacks to chief minister Kiran Kumar Reddy in return to the valuable public land it got in the name of the project.
As per the records, L&T spent Rs 3100 crore and AP Government spent Rs 900 crore on the Rs 16,375 crore project. The 8-km Phase-1 between Nagole and Mettuguda would be wrapped up by the end of 2014. The Metro Rail operations will begin from March 21st,2015 as a Ugadi gift to the Telugus.
