AP Govt Issues Loan Waiver GO

Andhra Pradesh Government offered an Independence day gift to state farmers.The Government released GO no-174 on Farm loan waiver up to 1.5 lakh and 1 lakh DWACRA loans. The farm loan includes Gold Loans also. AP government also planning to announce NTR health cards with a ceiling of Rs.2.5 lakhs worthy cashless treatment for all including journalists.
The amount of Rs.1.5 lakhs will be given to farmers even though they have repaid the loans. Officials have informed Chandra Babu that Raithu Runa Maafi will cost 56000 Crores while DWACRA Runa Maafi will cost 14000 Crore approximately.But Chandra Babu is particular about carrying out the loan waiver.
At a deep financial crunch of AP Opposition parties and many others doubted on TDP government to fulfill the election promise. But finally Chandrababu today signed on the GO of farm loan waiver.
It is known that Loan Waiver to farmers is one of the prime promises of TDP before the elections. Opposition parties are waiting to government fail in this issue and hound the ruling party in this aspect. So, Chandra Babu does not want to leave out any chance to them and fulfill this promise at any cost.
