Telangana Chief Minister KCR yesterday made it clear in Assembly that his government is not ready to take power from the AP State, even if Chandrababu Naidu is ready to give it. KCR said Naidu favored the Telangaan state by not releasing our due share of power.

KCR speaking at assembly said ‘’Even if we take power him, we have to pay more price for it . If, we remain dependent for power on the AP government, we may remain dependent on it forever. We don’t want power from AP state. We are putting lot of efforts to generate 7779 mw power by end of this year. I am sure our state will become surplus power state within next four years”. KCR comments created sensation as the state was suffering under power shortage.

Now KCR gets retort from AP Transco. Hailing KCR decision of not buying from AP, AP Transo asked him to inform the same to centre. In a statement AP Transco officials said that because of power being supplied to TS , it has to buy from other stated by paying more rates.

‘’ We are welcoming KCR decision. We are asking him to inform the same to center. Both states will not face problems if they used the power generated in their states’’ says AP Transco .It also asked KCR government to clear all the pending bills for the power supplied so far.
