In the three-hour-long brainstorming held at the Parliament House Annexe, Chiranjeevi has become the main target for the leaders.
APNGO leaders questioned Chiru how could he demand for Union Territory status to Hyderabad when the people of Seemandhra were fighting for keeping the state united. Chiranjeevi tried to pacify them by saying it was only after he met Sonia Gandhi, she came to known about the intensity of Samaikyandhra agitation. He claimed that he suggested the Union Territory status to Hyderabad only when Sonia asked him for an alternative solution.
However, APNGO leaders who weren't happy with Chiru's explanation accused him of clinging to his post despite the boiling situation in Seemandhra. They warned him of facing the ire of people if he fails to work for keeping the state united instead of bargaining for status of Hyderabad. With this kind of treatment, Chiru ran away from the meeting saying he has to attend the Lok Sabha.
