Australian cricketer and CSK player Micael Hussey revealed Gurunath Meiyappan is the one who is actually running the team as Srinivasan (India Cements owner) is also the BCCI president. "Gurunath ran the team along with coach Kepler Wessels," he wrote in his book.
Gurunath Meiyappan's name was charge sheeted for alleged gambling, cheating and criminal conspiracy in the spot-fixing case of the Indian Premier League sixth edition. Meiyappan placed bets and also revealed confidential information of his franchise to the bookies.
