Basanti Trailer Talk: Highly Impressive!

The theatrical trailer of 'Basanti' starring Brahmanandam's son Goutham and debutant Alisha Baig has been launched by Mahesh Babu on the sets of 'Aagadu' Today. Chaitanya Dantuluri who made critically acclaimed film like 'Banam' has wielded the megaphone.

'Basanti' which starts like any love story of a boy-next-door takes a U-turn with one incident. The film falls in the slot of Terrorism & Viplavam in the latter half.

The star of 'Basanti' is undoubtedly Goutham who delivered his best performance till date. Be it his body language or performance in emotional sequences, this youngster is spot on and will surely have a bright future if chosen right kind of script & directors.

Chaitanya Dantuluri deserves credit for choosing a unique path rather than regular love/action flicks. He handles the emotions quite well and he is one director to watch out for in the coming days. Music by Manisharma is apt and carries the mood of the film perfectly.

The one-liner by Tanikella Bharani is just brilliant: 'Ayudham Chethilo Undhi Kada Ani Amayakulani Champadam Ugravadham Sir - Yedutivadi Chethilo Ayudham Undani Telisi Kuda Oka Samanyudu Tiragabadatam Viplavam'.

On a whole, 'Basanti' trailer is highly impressive and Gowtham is likely to prove himself this time.
