Botsa eyeing Lok Sabha seat
By: Tupaki Desk | 2 Aug 2013 8:07 AM GMTPCC Chief Botsa Satyanarayana is eyeing Lok Sabha seat in the next general elections. The senior leader is of the opinion that he can't be part of the government in the divided state and preferring to go to Parliament in 2014.
Already, Botsa's wife Jhansi is a Member of Parliament and representing Vijayanagaram constituency. It will be a rare feat if the husband and wife reserve the berths in the Upper House for the next term.
Botsa Satyanarayana wants to field Jhani in Anakapalli for the next elections and that move will permit him to contest from Vijayanagaram. He has already began lobbying for the two MPs tickets.
As the candidates for the MP tickets will be decided by High Command, Uncertainty continues on Botsa's future course of action. Being an influential leader in coastal andhra might work in his favour.
