Brahmi Is Not A Spicy 'Mirchi'?

There are some latest Telugu films which are scoring well at Box Office only due to the mere presence of this comedy mirchi. But it looks like he is losing sheen, if we read these reports.
During the release of 'Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu' we heard that the comedy episode shot on Brahmanandam and Mahesh Babu was completely chopped from the film.
And in the latest release 'Mirchi', it is heard that more than 3-4 scenes of Brahmi were trimmed, though he is there all the time in the flick. A couple of drinking scenes, an escape episode from villain's house and a climax joke of him are cut from the flick, says a source. The makers are saying that they have chopped them only due to duration issues, but not like Brahmi's effect should be reduced.
Anyway, making scenes with Brahmi is a costly affair and if the makers are deciding to chop such scenes means, there is something to read between the lines.
