By-Polls: Polling in Medak & Nadigama peaceful!

By-Polls in 3 Lok Sabha including Medak and 33 Assembly segments across the country have been held on Saturday. Voters have been taking part in the polling in big numbers since morning and the entire process is gonna end by 6 pm.
In Medak By-elections, 14 Candidates including TRS, Congress, TDP-BJP and Independents have been in the race. Over 15.43 lakh voters are eligible to cast their franchise in Medak lok sabha segment. 9,000 Polling Staff will be offering their services in 1,817 booths. About 4,000 police personnel will be ensuring peaceful polling.
Even the by-poll in Nadigama have been going on in a peaceful manner. TDP MLA Tangirala Prabhakar died of heart attack soon after 2014 General Elections. TDP fielded Tangirala's daughter Sowya in by-poll. While YSR Congress didn't field its candidate, Baburao is contesting as Congress candidate. Counting takes place on September 16th.
