CBI Probe against Chandrababu
By: Tupaki Desk | 22 Sep 2013 11:37 AM GMTAs many as 17 MLAs of YSR Congress party met Governor ESL Narasimhan to submit a memorandum appeal him to order a CBI probe against TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu for his alleged connections with EMAAR and IMG Bharata.
The main accusation of YSRC is that large extent of lands have been allotted to IMG Bharata for less than 5 percent of the market value during Naidu's regime. They say, "Hundreds of acres of government land in Hyderabad have been given at minimum prices in the name of promoting IT and Sports. Babu allotted 850 acres of land to IMG which was promoted by his close associate without even consulting with the cabinet."
Regarding Emaar, YSR Congress highlighted the 535 acres of land in Hyderabad allotted to Emaar at Rs 28 lakh per acre in 2001 when the market value was over Rs 1 crore per acre.
