Chennai to replace Mumbai in Indian film map!!

South Indian film industry was split into Tollywood, Kollywood, Mollywood and Sandalwood few years back. Now all these 4 regional film industries joined hands to celebrate the 100 years function of Indian film industry in Chennai. As Bollywood is dominating one in India, the event should be held in Mumbai.
But this event is being held in Chennai. Interestingly, Bollywood is not a part of this event. This focuses a fact that the South Indian film industries are trying to combine into a single power to dominate Bollywood. In future, these industries may establish a new hub for Indian films in Chennai.
