Chiranjeevi Vs Venkaiah Naidu over T-Bill in Rajya Sabha
By: Tupaki Desk | 20 Feb 2014 1:49 PM GMTUnion Minister Chiranjeevi didn't spare any party including main opposition BJP during his speech on Telangana Bill in Parliament. He alleged BJP who supported T-Bill in Lok Sabha has been creating hurdles for it in Rajya Sabha only for political gains.
In response, Venkaiah Naidu commented Chiranjeevi is a good actor. Soon, the members raised objection and the Senior BJP leader clarified, 'I meant Chiranjeevi is a good actor onscreen and one of the most popular actors in AP'.
Later, Venkaiah Naidu questioned Chiru on who's behalf he is protesting and delivering his speech in Rajya Sabha. He also went on to ask how could Chiru justify speaking against the decision taken by his government being a Union Minister and why didn't he resign if he is against the bifurcation.
In response, Chiru claimed he would take Venkaiah Naidu's comment (good actor onscreen) as a certificate and thanked him. "To the question on who's behalf I am speaking, I can say I am speaking on behalf of people and we all are people's representatives. The situation is such that we have to reflect the emotions of the people".
