Chiru Movie turns unlucky for Salman Khan

Bollywood star Salman Khan was treated as the Box Office king as his films has always set a new benchmark in terms of collections. However, Film Lovers might be forced to change this perception upon going through collections of his latest outing 'Jai Ho' which is a remake of Chiranjeevi's flick Stalin.

Despite having a record release (5000 screens) and good reviews, Jai Ho recorded just OK figures at the ticket window for the first two days.

India Collections: Friday - Rs 17.55 crore; Saturday - Rs 16.25 crore.

Even the Sunday biz wasn't encouraging. Sohail Khan who is the director and producer of the movie made huge profit by selling all the rights before the release. Eros and Distributors will have to incur huge losses if the collections haven't improved in the next few days.

Salman Khan's comments on Narendra Modi has made a section of Muslims to stay away from Jai Ho. This is a major cause for the below-par opening for the movie starrer by king of masses.
