Chirus ex-hair stylist gets life for killing wife

A special women’s court convicted famous hairstylist Lisbon Miranda for killing his wife in their Andheri apartment in 2012. Lisbon Miranda worked as hairstylist for several south Indian actors including Megastar chiranjeevi and King Nagarjuna.
Lisbon was accused of stabbing his wife Bindiya to death in May 2012. As per police sources he stabbed her over 19 times with a dagger, following an argument
Mirandia and Bindiya got married in October 2008. As per the reports Lisbon ill-treated her, assaulted her and demanded more dowry.
Defence lawyer said that Miranda was under the influence of alcohol when he commits the murder. After committing the murder Miranda had locked himself up in his apartment and had threatened to blow up the house when the police arrived.
