Media is abuzz that Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy has submitted his resignation to AICC chief Sonia Gandhi after getting miffed with plans of division of state. Highly placed sources confirm, the resignation letter was handed to Sonia at 5 pm on Friday and the note is now lying with party president's political secretary Ahmed Patel.
When Kiran Kumar Reddy objected the bifurcation at his meeting with AICC Leaders Digvijay Singh and Ghulam Nabi Azad, They informed to him about the decision of leadership and confirmed Rayala-Telangana is in the making. Upset with the new developments, Kiran submitted his resignation to the CM Post stating he can't continue in the office during the division process.
Few reports have surfaced that CM Kiran himself has leaked the reports of his resignation to the media to win the support of Seemadhra people after the partition.
