CM sacks 36 Ministers after Defeat

Out of 80 Lok Sabha seats in Uttar Pradesh, BJP bagged the lion's share by winning a massive 71 seats. On Congress party ticket, Only Sonia Gandhi (Raibareli) and Rahul Gandhi (Amethi) won in UP. While Samajwadi Party bagged 5 seats, Independents won in remaining 2 seats.
Four days after the results were announced, Akhilesh Yadav showed exit doors to 36 out of 43 ministers in his cabinet.
Critics question, 'Why didn't Akhilesh Yadav resign taking the responsibility for defeat? Why just the ministers were made the scapegoats'.
