As YSR Congress party is posing a threat to the ruling party, both CM and PCC Chief got down to business and began to control the damage to the Congress party in Andhra Pradesh. They have decided to take the suggestions from the party cadres to counter Jaganmohan Reddy in coastal Andhra and also strengthen Congress party in the region.
Dalit voters, a strong vote bank to Congress for decades, now rallying behind YSR Congress president YS Jaganmohan Reddy.Worried over the losing strong dalit votebank, Congress is making the efforts to woo them back to Congress. The party has also decided to use the historic SC/ST Sub-Plan bill and other welfare schemes to project in the state for winning the strong vote bank and by which Jaganmohan Reddy's popularity would be controlled.
First time in the history, Congress party is going to conduct a regional party convention on January 7 in Vijayawada. Party chief Botsa said that the regional party meeting will focus its attention on knowing the pulse of party cadre.
