Don't blame me for Rape

Poonam Pandey is upset with the remarks that her provocative pictures are responsible for the increase in crime against women in the country. After the Mumbai gang-rape incident, she was forced to feel guilty of the crime. "My pictures are responsible for crime against women. Ha Ha, really? Was there no crime against women before I arrived on the scene?," she questioned.
The controversial actress asks why she was blamed for social evils and what wrong has she done. "We have many renowned actresses who have done item songs. They are watched by more men than mine," she says.
Poonam asserts men doesn't commit crime against women because of what they see in films and pictures. She feels there would be far less crime if men have direct and easy access to female company. She even said reviving the beer bar culture would bring down the crime rate.
