Ex-DGP joins YSR Congress

Former Director General of Police (DGP) V Dinesh Reddy on Monday joined YSR Congress. He is keen on contesting either from Ongole or Malkajgiri Lok Sabha segment on YSRC ticket.

Sources say, YSR Congress leadership decided to mae him the candidate for Malkajgiri Lok Sabha segment as party's key leader YV Subba Reddy is aspiring for Ongole parliamentary constituency.

Few days ado, Dinesh Reddy even BJP senior leader Bandaru Dattareya and expressed his wish to enter politics by joining the National party. He, however, placed the demand of offering him Ongole MP ticket in return. But, the seat sharing deal between TDP and BJP ruined his hopes. Finally, He choose to sail with Jagan.
