Fading Heroine promoting Tourism
By: Tupaki Desk | 2 Aug 2013 12:54 PM GMTPromoting Tourism Destinations and pocketing money seems to be the latest trend in Film Industry. We have seen governments shelling out crores for the producers who shoot their films in their countries as it eventually helps the Tourism to grow. Earlier, Malaysian government has paid Rs 4 cross for Don 2 producers for the same.
Now, Producer Pusala Kishore who is making a bilingual film with Trisha is following the same trend. He is in touch will the Tourism ministry of Switzerland for signing a deal. Swiss Govt. has offered Rs 30 lakhs and free accommodation for the 12-member crew for a period of 10 days if they promote its Tourism through the film. Makers claim it will be first of its kind film in Tollywood if everything falls in place.
The new development will benefit the producers of small and medium budget films. Its a healthy trend and should be seen as a cost cutting technique.
