Final report on Telangana

Congress High Command, the decision maker for the Telangana issue, has finally started exercises to put an end to Telangana impasse in Andhra Pradesh. Congress President Sonia Gandhi has been consulting the party senior leaders on Telangana issue to work out a solution to resolve Telangana deadlock.

Following the one month deadline announced by the Union Home Minister Susheelkumar Shinde during the all-party meeting held on December 28,The Congress High Command has committed to take the final decision on Telangana.

Sonia Gandhi meeting with senior congress leaders fuels the speculation of decision on Telangana likely by this week.APCC Chief Botcha Satyanarayana and CM Kirankumar Reddy were already summoned by high command to take their opinion on the issue.

The Congress high command is waiting for the General Secretary Rahul Gandhi's arrival from a foreign tour. He will come back to New Delhi on Monday. The congress core committee will finalize its decision on Telangana after discussing the issue with Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi.
