Flash: Kiran Kumar Reddy stays away from 2014 Polls
By: Tupaki Desk | 19 April 2014 8:39 AM GMTFormer Chief Minister and Jai Samaikyandhra Party chief Kiran Kumar Reddy has opted out of contesting 2014 Elections. Instead, Kiran's Younger Brother Kishore Kumar Reddy will filed his nomination in his home turf Pileru Assembly constituency in Chittoor district on Saturday.
Party Sources say, Kiran took this decision in the last minute as he would be busy campaigning for his party candidates in all the constituencies.
Speaking at Pileru road show, Kiran Kumar Reddy thanked people for electing his father and him for 10-terms from Vayalpudu and Pileru Assembly segments. He appealed the people to show the same love and affection on his brother too.
Jai Samaikyandhra Party fielded its candidates in 23 Lok Sabha and over 100 Assembly segments in Seemandhra. It even fielded few candidates in few of Telangana districts.
