By: Tupaki Desk | 4 Nov 2014 1:51 PM GMTDelhi court shocked everyone by setting aside life imprisonment awarded to a man for allegedly raping and killing a 60-Year-old Woman while being in an inebriated condition.
Division Bench judges Pradeep Nandrajog and Mukta Gupta passed this judgement on October 31st. They opined, 'Achey Lal (accused) might be held guilty of rape but he can't be punished for murder as he neither had intention or knowledge that such a forceful sex would result the death of the woman. So, He is acquitted from charges under Section 302 of Indian Penal Code'.
The court even acquitted Achey Lal of rape charges as the woman who ages 60 years was beyond the age of menopause.
