Gayatri Travels Bus Accident: 8 Killed & 15 Injured!

A Gayatri Travels Bus met with an accident near Durga Ghatt at Solapur (Maharashtra) killing as many as 8 passengers and injuring 15 others got injured seriously. The incident happened why returning from a Devotional Trip. All the deceased have been natives of Machilipatnam, Krishna District.

Sources say, A group of 40 people belonging to 2-3 families from Chilakalapudi village booked Gayatri Tours & Travels bus on September 29th. The private bus had hit the culvert on its way to Vijayawada after visiting Shirdi.

AP CM Chandrababu Naidu expressed condolences, "Deeply saddened by the death of passengers from Machilipatnam in tragic road accident in Maharashtra. My condolences to the family members."
