Grenade Found on Modis Aircraft

A defused grenade found in the business class of an Air India jumbo aircraft. The flight kept as standby for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recent US visit. Security agencies are in shock over the incident.
The flight initially put as a stand by for MODI US visit had released for commercial use. Which was scheduled on the route Delhi-Mumbai-Hyderabad-Jeddah flight. However, when the plane reached Jeddah on the morning of Saturday (IST). During the time a defused grenade was found lying inside the business class of the aircraft. Immediately it has been grounded and went for sanity checks.An AI executive speaking to media said that, it was the “plastic casing” of a shell of a stun grenade. It will be used by security during the anti terror drills carried out in the plane and that it was “completely harmless”.
The plane is at present grounded in Jeddah airport and the local authorities have completely sanitized the aircraft. Primary investigation started over the incident. PMO has not yet commented on this.
