Honour Killing: Hyd Woman Techie murdered!

A woman techie was found murdered in Guntur on Sunday just two days after she married a man who is from another community. Police have been suspecting it might be a case of honour killing as the girl married against the wishes of her parents.
P Deepthi who is an employee of software company in Hyderabad was in love with her colleague Kiran Kumar. But, the girl's parents opposed their decision to take their relationship to the next level. Hence, the love birds married at Arya Samaj on March 21st.
The Girl's Parents took the newly wed to their native place in Guntur assuring them that they have accepted the marriage and few rituals need to be performed. After reaching the place, the parents the girl away and asked Kiran Kumar and his friends to stay in lodge.
When Kiran Kumar made calls to his wife's cellphone there was no response. Soon, he approached the police who broke the door of the house to find the woman lying dead on the bed. Cops suspect she had been strangulated with her chunri for marrying against their wish. Special teams have been in search of the parents who have been absconding.
