“My name is….,I am 21 years old. I am studying in Delhi University. I have a friend on Facebook, his name is Asif. His native place is Madura District, Uttar Pradesh. He is working as a welder in Delhi. We
are friends from the last 2 years. Believing he would marry me and he “rape” me several times. Now he didn’t respond my calls. Besides studying I am working in a volunteer Organization.” This is the summary of a complaint given by a girl at Delhi Police station. We don’t know how it would be the situation if more details available on this, people show their resentment on girl who saw this issue on the social networking websites.
People pointed a mistake on her, she believes a friend via Facebook and does sex with him before marriage, now she complained on him by saying he “rape” me. Some have argued that these types of people misuse the act of “nirbhaya” for their personnel benefits. “Two major people on mutual understanding they have a physical relationship between them after that due to some reason one person not showing interest on their relationship, how we call it as “Rape”,” like this they questioned. She knowingly committed this relationship before marriage even though she knows this is not correct. Is there any care needs to be given to the girl like her, who did self knowing mistake and these sort of questions raised by the people.
However, the person who betrayed by believing he would marry her has to be arrested. But whether to consider that under “Enticingly” or under “Rape” this debate is still going now. By the last week judgment given by the Madras High Court, without marriage if male and female involved in physical relationship then we can consider it as a “marriage”. Now we have to wait what’s the judgment in this case. In the other side…. the police have registered a case on the complaint of victim…. Welder Asif close friend driver Yogesh is under police custody now. They enquired him….now they are searching for absconding main accused person Asif.
