Actress Kalki Koechlin revealed a shocking fact that she was sexually abused as a child. The pretty girl doesn't want to talk about it on a public platform because its just becomes a 'shocking headline' but someone who has gone through Child Sexual Abuse isn't a headline. "It's not a one day headline for me, but something that's a reality I have lived with for a long time. Many of my close friends who are women have gone through some form of child sexual abuse," she told.
The 30-Year-Old points out 53 percent of Children in India are sexually abused as per the statistics. She feels Indian schools lack proper sexual education. The bold actress appeals victims to break the silence and share their trauma with a psychiatrist or family member or friend.
