India lost to Bangladesh in marine region war

From the past few years, Bangladesh and India have been fighting for marine region in Bay of Bengal area. Recently, UN came forward to solve the issue and it gave majority of the part to Bangladesh. India got almost one fourth region while Bangladesh bagged 75% of the marine region.
Even though it is considered as a defeat to India, Prime Ministers of both the nations expressed that they are fine with the decision of the UN. They respected the decision as well as the respective countries’ regions. Bangladesh and India have been fighting on this aspect from the past few years.
Now, Bangladesh stated that it will help India in all the ways. India reduced the funds sanctioned to Bangladesh as a part of the SAARC deal, a bit. As the issue is solved, both Bangladesh and India may work together for collaborative progress.
