Tapsee claims action-adventure flick 'Sahasam' has increased her success rate and gave her a big hit she always wanted to score. She even revealed about the revenue it generated in the first weekend to convince the movie lovers.
"I have been waiting for this day for so long. As Sahasam recovered 70 percent of the total budget in the opening weekend itself, I am happy to announce that the film is a hit," commented the actress, giving credit for the appreciation she has been receiving for her new look to cameraman Nikki Rajani and costume designers Diya and Lipsa.
It may be mentioned that Tapsee's negative role in 'Gundello Godari' earned her much needed critical acclaim but not Box Office success. Even her big project 'Shadow' opposite Venkatesh has bitten the dust. She has pinned all her hopes on 'Sahasam' as one more failure would brand her as an iron-leg in the Industry.
Luckily, Sahasam recorded career-best openings for Gopichand but if they amount to 70 percent of the total budget as claimed by Tapsee is a big question.
