It's Final: Jayalalithaa to Remain in Jail Till Oct 6th!

AIADMK Chief Jayalalithaa have no other option but to remain in jail till October 6th as the bail plea filed by her lawyers in Karnataka High Court on Tuesday has been adjourned till Monday.
Noted lawyer Ram Jethmalani filed a petition seeking bail for the four accused in the Rs 66.65 crore corruption case and challenged the verdict saying the huge fine imposed on convicts isn't conforming to the PCA 1988 Act. Jayalalithaa's health condition, suffering from diabetes and high blood pressure, has been cited as the reason for bail.
A special court in Bangalore sentenced Jayalalithaa and her three associates to 4 years in prison. A fine of Rs 100 crore on Jaya and Rs 10 crore each on 3 others have been imposed.
