As expected, The new capital of Andhra Pradesh will be built between Vijayawada and Guntur. Even AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu wants the capital to be located here.
Union Minister M Venkaiah Naidu revealed Shivarama Krishnan Committee has informed to him that Vijayawada and Guntur is the ideal location for building the new capital it haas got good road, rail and air connection.
Even the arrival of Union Urban Development Minister's principle secretary Sudheer to Vijayawada, Guntur, Tenali and Mangalagiri also given strength to this statements. He even collected the necessary details for Metro Rail project between Vijayawada and Guntur. Discussions were also conducted for putting up a Metro Rail project between Vizag and Vijayawada.
