Jagan is like My Son

Former minister P Shankar Rao is known for his unusual demands and publicity craving activities. The Cantonment MLA who filed a case in court seeking investigation into the assets earned by YS Jagan during YSR's tenure as CM that led to the CBI investigation is now demanding for an early release of Yuva Neta.
Shankar Rao appealed to the CBI to file the final charge sheet in the assets case as this would felicitate Jagan's release from Chanchalguda on bail. "Jagan is the classmate of my son. Though I'm against his corruption, I feel sorry for him for his long stay in judicial custody. He is like my son," he said.
The MLA also threatened the investigation agency that he would be seeking justice from court if CBI fails to file the final charge sheet by September 9th.
Being a Telanganite, Shankar Rao raised objections to Jagan's fast in Chanchaguda and sought an enquiry to find out who had permitted him to take such move. He expressed the fear that such incidents would set a bad example for the inmates across the country and lead to law and order issues.
