KCR can not handle Financial burden anymore
By: Tupaki Desk | 11 Aug 2013 5:36 PM GMTThe two options left for K Chandrasekhar Rao post the announcement of Telangana state by Centre - 1) Merging TRS with Congress ; 2) Fighting the lone battle. Factors influencing the TRS Boss to merge his party are…
1) Financial burden of running the party - Day-to-Day affairs; Funds for meetings and elections. KCR has openly said to the party leaders that running a political party has been very difficult these days if it fails to be in power.
2) Congress turned favorite in Telangana post the decision by Sonia Gandhi to divide AP.
3) Migration of its MLA to ruling party.
4) Chances of forming the Government on its own look bleak. It has to form an alliance with any one of the other parties to do so.
5) Recent surveys and opinion polls have been giving thumbs up to Congress after it announced Telangana state.
In a way, Congress is forcing KCR to merge his party which was built brick-by-brick by him for the past decade.
