KCR ignores protests, sanctions Rs 150 crore!

Inspite of protests from Opposition, State Government is reluctant to either call off the plan or opt for an alternative.
Telangana government sanctions Rs 150 crore for construction of new Secretariat at the 72 acre Chest Hospital land. A 5-Member Committee which will be headed by Principal Secretary (Political) has been constituted to study the new secretariat plan. Principal Secretaries of Finance, Revenue, Urban Development and R&B have bee appointed as members of the Committee.
The Panel will study the entire Space required for the new Secretariat including Chambers of Chief Minister, Cabinet Ministers, Minister Peshi, Secretariat Staff, Head of Departments and etc., A report will be submitted by the 5-member team to the Government and necessary measures will be taken based on it.
