KCR request to Tata Group

Telangana Chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao who is preparing his plans to develop Hyderabad as smart city increased his speed. Few months back KCR announced TATA group will be brand ambassador for Telangana IT sector and assured them to provide all the required facilities. Considering this assurance KCR requested Tata Group of Companies to invest Rs 30,000- 40,000 crore in the city.
In a interaction with Tata Power CEO and managing director Anil Sardana at CM camp office KCR emphasized the need for companies like Tata to take the lead to invest and develop the city as a world-class one in all aspects. In reply to KCR request Anil Sardana offered to establish up to 1000 MW of thermal power project in order to strengthen power sector in the new state. Anil also added, Tata groups help in encouraging solar power generation and its supply to rural areas. As per him the projects going to be kick off soon.
