KCR to meet bankers on farm loan waiver

First Chief Minister of Telangana, K.Chandrasekhar Rao has started the process of fulfilling the promises he made at the time of elections.
As part of that, he is trying to take an early decision on farm loan waiver. The 1st State Level Bankers' Committee will meet on Wednesday to discuss the proposed agricultural loan waiver promised by Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.
The Bankers' Committee meeting will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday at the Conference Hall, C-Block, of State Secretariat.KCR will discuss with the bankers and higher officials on the possibility of loan waiver of farmers in the state of Telangana.It may be recalled that KCR made an election promise of crop loan waiver for amounts less than Rs 1 lakh.The bankers will also discuss other issues related to Telangana State.
According to source the meeting will conclude the decision about waiving loans of 26000 crores in initial stage.
