Mahesh and Charan's common thoughts
By: Tupaki Desk | 9 Sep 2013 1:07 PM GMTVery few people know that Mahesh Babu and Ram Charan like the Vinayaka Chavithi festival a lot. Interestingly, they even share a common thought of preferring eco-friendly idols as the colorful paints are a threat to the environment.
Mahesh: "Whenever I think about Vinayaka Chavithi, I re-visit my childhood days when I had spent happily in Chennai. I prefer eco-friendly idols. It's our responsibility to save our environment. We should never feel like the size of the idol directly proportional to the way we celebrated the festival".
Charan: "Vinayaka Chavithi is special for me as we celebrate it for one week. In childhood, I used to buy the idols along with my friends. I used to play at the pandals on the streets. I can't enjoy those movements now due to the celebrity status. Last year, Me and Upasana have jointly performed the pooja. This year, I will be celebrating with my entire family. I prefer eco-friendly idols."
