By: Tupaki Desk | 30 March 2013 3:24 PM GMTThe strong buzz in the Industry is that Mahesh Babu will be playing the title role in Telugu remake of Bollywood hit 'Jolly LLB'.
Reports say, Superstar is very much impressed with the Jolly LLB's gripping narration and hasn't taken much time to give his nod when the offer came his way. Director Subhash Kapoor who directed the original is said to be keen on directing the remake too.
'Jolly LLB' is the story of a struggling young lawyer who shifts his base to Delhi in search of name and fame. What happens when he files a PIL in a sensational hit-and-run case forms the rest of the story. It's basically a courtroom comedy. Arshad Warsi, Amrita Rao and Boman Irani played the leads. The film is a blockbuster, considering it's low budget.
Has Mahesh agreed to reprise the role of a small-town lawyer? It's still surprising! We can't rule out the chances completely as the Superstar is surprising the film buffs with his choice of films off late. Who would have thought he would sign a film like SVSC? So, let's wait for the official confirmation about 'Jolly LLB' rather than being judgemental!!!
