Can you remember Amrita Rao? Yes, she is the actress who shared screen space with Mahesh Babu in the action flick 'Athidhi'.
Off late, Amrita Rao finding it hard to bag any film offers. The only film assignment she managed to get in the recent past is the big ticket venture 'Satyagraha' which stars Amitabh Bachchan, Kareena Kapoor and Ajay Devagan in the lead.
Notably, Amrita spent sleepless nights over dubbing for a scene which is one of the most difficult scenes in the film. In fact, the actress has done the scene with so much conviction that it was okayed by director Prakash Jha in a single take. But the biggest challenge for the actress is to recreate the same emotion in a dubbing studio.
Although the director liked the dubbing of the actress for that particular scene, Amrita wasn't satisfied with her effort and felt she could have done a much better job. She tried her best to convince the sound recordist for a retake, but her efforts were in vain.
After spending sleepless nights for two days, Amrita sent an SMS to the director urging him to give her one more chance and a positive reply has finally come her way. 'Satyagraha' is very crucial for the career of this slender babe and hence she doesn't want to give room for any sort of criticism.
