Martur-Vinukonda is AP Capital: Sivaramakrishnan Committee

Sivaramakrishnan Committee has declared AP Capital should be between Martur-Vinukonda. It turned down the AP Government's proposal to locate capital between Vijyawada and Gutur citing financial and environmental aspects. Here are the highlights of the report….

Divide AP into Four parts - Uttar Andhra (Srikakulam, Vijayanagaram, Visakhapanam, East Godavari), Madhya Andhra (West Godavari, Krishna, Guntur), Coastal Andhra (Prakasam, Nellore) and Rayalseema (Anantapur, Kurnool, Chittoor, Kadapa).
