Metro Rail Contractors bag Prestigious Project

Gujarat Government has preferred leading engineering firm Larsen & Toubro (L&T) to construct the 'Statue of Unity' which is going to be World's tallest statue.
Building a 182-metre Statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Iron Man of India, on Narmada River is the pet project of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Apparently, 'Statue of Unity' will be double the size of US's 'Statue of Liberty'. The project include Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel statue, An exhibition hall, Convention Centre, Hotel and A man-made lake and a bridge connecting Sadhu island with the mainland. This mission is worth Rs 2,979 crore and L&T gonna complete it in 42 months.
The first 6 months of the project will be catered for the design and rest of the 36 months for the construction to make the big dream a reality.
