Metropolis event in Hyderabad

The five day XI Metropolis World Congress 2014 had started in Hyderabad today. The event which owns the theme of 'Cities for All' hosting by Telangana state police.
In this event almost four hundred representatives from fifty countries participated. In addition to international guest almost 1650 representatives participated from 458 Indian cities.The event focused on exploring issues and concerns common to all metropolitan regions.adding to thisNobel Peace Prize winner Rajendra Pachauri will speak on 'The Politics of Climate Change and Global Cities'.
Delegates will visit Hyderabad Metro Rail, Hussainsagar lake reclamation, women SHGs, Indian Green Building Council, IT Corridor/Cyberabad, etc. to get an understanding on the city environment and its design.
