MLC polls : R.Krishnayya stays away

There have been rumors that TDP MLA R Krishnaiah will be leaving TDP and joining TRS in the wake of party's (TDP) poor performance in Telangana. Giving strength to the rumours the powerfull BC Leader has not cast his vote till 12 noon for the MLC polls on Monday.
R.Krishnayya was announced as TDP Telangana CM candidate soon after he joined the party before 2014 elections. He managed to post a comfortable victory, but after the party did not elect him as the legislative party leader, he has almost been missing in action.The leader has also not been a part of the TDP camps during the last two days.
It is known that defectors from TDP to TRS have been suspended for jumping the wall recently. While 10 MLAs were suspended for leaving the party after the elections, R Krishnaiah’s name does not figure in the list. Party’s key leader Revnath Reddy got booked by ACB cops and now the absence of Party’s CM candidate turned another blow to TDP.
