Modi is only the 3rd Leader in the World

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has merged as the third most followed world leader on social networking site Twitter. He is only next to US President Barack Obama and Pope.
While Obama has got 43.9 million followers, Pope have over 14 million followers. With over 5.09 million followers, Modi surpassed Indonesian President SB Yudhoyono (5.08 million) on Thursday.
Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg said Narendra Modi is the second most popular World leader on Facebook with about 18.9 million 'likes', standing only next to after Obama. She is on a five-day tour to India and even met the Prime Minister the other day.
The statistics show how effectively Modi has been using the social media to stay connected to the people.
