Modi meeting in Hyderabad: Venue Finalised!

BJP finally got the necessary clearance to hold Narendra Modi's next public meeting in Hyderabad at Lal Bahadur Stadium. The meeting is scheduled at 5 pm on April 22th.
Initially, BJP was denied permission for the meeting at LB Stadium because of the renovation works happening in it. Later, The National Party thought of holding meeting at Gymkana, Nizam College, Parade Grounds, Exhibition Grounds, Uppal Stadium and Railway Ground but nothing worked out. Finally, BJP mounted pressure on Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh to rent LB Stadium.
Renting LB Stadium for political meetings has been stopped after YS Jagan's meeting in October last year as it became unsuitable for sports activities after thousands of people thronged during heavy rain on that day. BJP Telangana unit president Kishan Reddy explained there is no intention to hamper repair works ahead of Summer camp for Children but they have no other option.
